A simple and refreshing iced tea recipe


Tetley Forest Fruits with a Twist of Apple iced tea


     You'll need...


  • 8 x tea bags of Tetley Fruit and Herbal Infusions – try Passionfruit with a Twist of Hibiscus, Forest Fruits with a Twist of Apple or Cinnamon Orange with a Twist of Rooibos
  • 1 medium lemon or orange
  • 8 cups of simmering water
  • Ice
  • Sugar or sugar syrup (optional)



  1. Place the tea bags in a large heatproof glass or jug
  2. Use a vegetable peeler to strip the peel from the lemon or orange, avoiding as much of the white pith as possible, and add the peel to the jug
  3. Pour the simmering water in to the glass or jug and let it steep for at least 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags and discard. Refrigerate the tea until cool
  4. To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the tea over the ice. Sweeten with sugar as required.
  5. You can also add berries and or mint for a finishing touch
