Tetley Peppermint Punch

Ingredients

  • 6 Tetley Peppermint with a Twist of Lemongrass tea bags
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups clear apple juice
  • 1/3 cup castor sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups cold soda water
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • 1 green apple, cut into small cubes
  • 1 cup strawberries, cut into quarters

Directions

  • Bring water to boil in a saucepan
  • Add tea bags and sugar.
  • Steep covered for 15 minutes.
  • Squeeze out the tea bags to release as much liquid as possible. Discard tea bags.
  • Stir in apple juice, lemon juice and orange juice. Cool to room temperature. Refrigerate covered until chilled.
  • Add all fruit.
  • Chill further 1 hour to 24 hours. (the fruit stays fresh)
  • Add soda water just before serving.
  • Pour into glasses half filled with ice.
